Montreal's well received dancehall entertainer Sampaloo recently released his highly anticipated video for the reggae single, 'Only Jah Know' on Tenament Yard Records' Sweet Dreams rhythm.
The team has great expectations for the single as it portrays the developments in Sampaloo's career that caused the Canadian-Jamaican entertainer to slow down his pace in 2013.
Management, Reeva Ann Proctor of Empowerment Media Group states: "2013 was an important milestone in Sampaloo's career. With unforeseen circumstances including the passing of two family members, Sampaloo took a slower path to ensure he had quality reggae singles to which people around the world could relate. Though his album Immigration didn't get the chance to hit the market yet, it has given us time to re-evaluate what songs we intend to put out on the album that truly represent him and his journey here in Canada."
Sampaloo has been one of Canada's top dancehall artistes since 2004 with the release of his debut single, Immigration, and has since released mainly dancehall tracks for various producers from Jamaica and around the world.
As Sampaloo continues to maintain his presence in the media, he is also actively involved in empowering his community. His fundraiser for the Philippines though small, turned out to be very successful.
He again brings the Montreal and Canadian artistes together in March where he officially announced on Facebook that his annual 'Welcome to Montreal' event will be held at V-Lounge, on Saturday, March 29, 2014. - Jamaica Star
