Sampsonite

Chris Sampson better known as Sampson or Sampsonite was born August 1, 1991 in Peterborough, ON, he lived in east-city on Sophia st. before moving north to a small town called Norland with his brothers, while living around his bro's he heard alot of rap music comprising mostly of such artists as ''Big Punisher'' and ''Everlast'' and "Cypress Hill" the story's and flow to their music compelled him to want to do it himself and made him miss his old home in Peterborough, but with lack of equipment and funds he could not and shortly gave up, years later he was a changed person no longer interested in trying to go anywhere with his dreams of the past, he was contacted by a classmate and was shown that he himself (the classmate) rapped and while listening to this persons music he became inspired again thinking of lines instantly he suddenly wanted to do it again, days later he went and bought a cheap microphone and started using a program called ''Audacity'' the first track he recorded was a freestyle and caught the attention of all the local MC's in the surrounding area's due to the fact he had never recorded before and they were impressed by his upbeat sounds and lyrical power. From that point he has released 13 promotional singles and 2 mixtapes ''The Staredown'' (Which was produced by and distributed by A&R Select) and ''The Crossing'' (which was produced and distributed independently) earning more respect amoung he's peers as he progressed. Now he has a small studio located within his home (C.S studio's which works hand in hand with Hot2Ice Productions) which was used to produce his first full length album "Mandatory Session" in 2009, aswell as being a musician himself Sampsonite is also a producer/manager and director and the founder of the record label "Conclusion Underground Entertainment", now he is taking on the music industry going against the grain of regular hip hop with his new album "Ready For Release" set to debute in fall 2010.

My biggest influences are: Notorious B.I.G, Big Punisher, 2Pac and Everlast as well as I respect just about every other artist trying to make it within this business, so shouts out to all y'all artist's try-in' to get yourselves a name out there, keep at it and if you want it bad enough it WILL happen.
