Take bombastic, heavy hitting post-rock and inject it with orchestral soundtrack music. We strive to create cinematic moments that build to powerful climaxes.

Biography

Samsara is a Canadian 4 piece playing instrumental music. Amongst others, they've shared the stage with Caspian, The American Dollar, Arms and Sleepers, Mogwai side project Crippled Black Phoenix, and Lifestory: Monologue.

In 2009, the band released their debut EP featuring four songs. It was praised as "the soundtrack to an unwritten movie," "a timeless musical journey where the story is not told by words" and "a great introduction to this Canadian four piece."

Samsara is currently preparing demos and planning out their next release, taking their cinematic sound to new heights. In the meantime, the band will be releasing teasers and video updates.

"With an expertly sculpted sound and an ear for timely transitions, Samsara have pushed themselves to the forefront of my interest in post-rock. While this genre isn’t exactly for me, Samsara might just be that band that manages to bridge a gap and appeal to fans outside of their own genre. We’ll see where they go, but if Samsara is an inclination, this band has all the potential they need." - theinterlude.com
