Samuel Caldwell's Revenge is a punk/metal band out of Dallas/Fort worth. They have been heavily influenced by the Fat Wreck Chords underground sound of the mid 90's. SCR have been playing the local scene for the better part of seven years. Having played shows everywhere from Trees in Dallas to Red Seven in Austin, and everywhere in between. They've played with bands such as Strung Out and Against All Authority,Whole Wheat Bread as well as countless local bands and touring acts. SCR has also had the luxury of two founding members owning a recording studio (Dang!Studios) and several of our members carry degrees and certifications in music performance, song writing, and audio engineering. They have recorded with such notable artists as: Flyleaf, Drowning Pool, Joey Cape, Jon Snodgrass, Chuck Ragan, and Chad Rex. Thery are the real deal and pride themselves on professional execution done DIY! Lyrically you can always count on them to put some thought behind their message, usually about current social and political issues. Musically they like to keep it fast and driving with occasional ballads of epic harmony. SCR live is something you won't soon forget, loud blistering songs, scissor kicks, jumps, and a singer that's usually hanging off the rafters keeps the audience on their toes and their eyes glued to the stage. They'll always keep them coming for more, so stick around! SCR is in for the long haul with nobody to stand in their way... Samuel Caldwell's revenge is the band that won't die.
