Samuel Yuri Presents Soundtracks That Rock

New Single, “West Song,” Out Soon

São Paulo, Brazil – September 23, 2017 – It hasn’t even been a year since Samuel Yuri realized his musical aspirations but he’s already well on his way to making his mark with his cascade of releases that capture true rock elements on a soundtrack level.

It was March 2017 when “Arab Theme I” first made its debut. It was followed by its second reincarnation. Within the confines of Samuel Yuri’s music, you can hear his influences from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Nirvana, System of a Down, Evanescence and other notable Brazilian bands as well, such as Legião Urbana and Los Hermanos. With those band’s influences matched with his composition skills, he’s constructed a good deal of songs that showcase that he’s on the right path in his career.

Other than his musical influences, his music has influences that are at times cosmic. His lead single “Contemplation Theme I” is a great soundtrack inspired by movies and songs orbiting around space and the idea of, while “Beethoven’s Inspiration” was inspired by Beethoven, “Moonlight Sonata.” Samuel Yuri clearly draws inspiration from all that surrounds him from the music he listens to, to the world around him. As for his next single, “West Song” he looked to the rock coming from the west.

No começo desse ano, SAMUEL YURI começou a ter suas primeiras inspirações para suas composições. As melodias do SYSTEM OF A DOWN, METALLICA e LED ZEPPELIN sempre fizeram parte de suas inspirações. Foi então que compôs a “Arab Theme I” , inspirado nessas bandas e pensando em riffs de guitarra oriental.

Logo veio também a inspiração para a letra da música: Pensou no clima árido e no Sol escaldante do Oriente. Pensou em suas músicas preferidas do SYSTEM OF A DOWN. Pensou também nos heróis solares de filmes, aqueles que trazem a esperança... a trilha sonora de filmes épicos foi surgindo em sua mente e assim foi criada também sua primeira música com letra: “The Sun”. “Here comes the Sun! Here comes the light!/Aí vem o Sol! Aí vem a Luz!” – inicia sua inspirada composição.

E então, logo após essas duas composições veio a idéia de fazer a continuação de” Arab Theme I”. Baseando sua criação em uma melodia também com influências orientais criou a “Arab Theme II: Orient Places”. Criou com esse título de “Orient Places”, justamente porque já imaginava a criação da letra da música com esse tema.

Assim surgiu “Orient Places” , sua versão com letra, inspirando-se mais uma vez em melodias do SYSTEM OF A DOWN e nas músicas também impactantes de RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. “You must find your Orient Places, You must find your heart / Você deve encontrar seus lugares orientais, você deve encontrar seu coração” – enfatiza a música.

E assim SAMUEL YURI encontrou-se nas suas criações musicais, com influências de verdadeiros gigantes do Rock. O compositor, guitarrista, vocalista, tecladista e músico SAMUEL YURI lançou recentemente sua nova música autoral intitulada “West Song”. Baseando sua composição em ritmos e aventuras do cenário do Oeste, lançou primeiro o Instrumental da sua música chamada “West Song (Instrumental)” com um estilo bem Rock’n Roll.

Depois, como o título sugere uma canção com ritmos desses locais, pensou em lançar também uma versão acústica e assim inspirou e compôs a “West Song (Instrumental Acoustic Version)”.

Então, lembrando de filmes e cenas de aventuras do Oeste, SAMUEL YURI criou uma nova lenda em sua canção, e assim fez a letra épica de “West Song” com uma narrativa cheia de aventuras:

Mas para trazer o Elixir da Vida Eterna, é preciso derrotar uma Besta que habita uma caverna no Oeste.

“The ones Who fought it Yeah, could never survive, yeah/ Os que lutaram contra ela, nunca sobreviveram” diz SAMUEL YURI em “West Song”.
