Bio
The Samurai plays original compositions which draw on a variety of influces. We don't believe in rules; our art is a product of the moment. Composers like John Zorn, Drew Gress and Steve Reich, to name but three of many, have an equal effect on our ears and hearts, and therefore our music. The music comes first. We take it seriously, but only enough to keep our concentration and dedication to the moment.
