Sand Rabbit

We originally got together to tie up some loose end songs that had been rolling around for a while, but it soon developed into something quite different. We started writing new songs specifically for the line up we had and starting gigging with acoustic guitars and a drum backing track. This developed further and we got in an actual drummer and pulled in some synthesizers to beef up the bass. We became Sand Rabbit. We all have massive record collections and draw influences from all genres; some of these that come across in the music more prominently are They Might Be Giants, Dinosaur Jr, Pulp and The New Pornographers, but then different people hear different things in our music.
