Bio

If life had lyrics they would be her words. Singer/Songwriter, Sandra Crede is a woman with many messages. She's a wordsmith who breathes life into her written words by giving them her voice. She has the ability to take life experiences and translate them into a simple rendering of emotion, passion and wisdom. Her songs are understandable, identifiable, with clear intention. Expect to easily relate to her stories.

What not to expect is another exposed-cleavage, bare midriff, hip-gyrating pop/rock starlet. Crede is a true woman with real life experience. And she has a lot to sing about with a voice that's meltingly sensual ... .and an unassuming style and beauty of her own.

Sandra Crede is an "organic" artist, in that she has never studied music (or any other art form for that matter). She began singing, dancing, writing poetry, drawing and putting on all kinds of pretend performances (for herself, friends and family) as far back as she can remember. Sandra Crede's ability for creating rhythm and rhyme with words is innate ... Her voice has a natural quality, carrying with it a sincerity that overpowers her lack of technical vocal skill. She's creates and performs instinctively. Her work is un-convoluted. To put it simply ... she's an honest artist.

Crede's first full 12 track album (fittingly) titled "Womanology" is an eclectic mix of Bluesy, Pop-Rock with a hint of R&B.

Songs on the CD include;

"All It Takes" - A sweet ballad about lost love, in which Crede shows vulnerability in indulging her soft and romantic side.

In "No One to Love" she croons about being abandoned, but ends up turning the tables on an unsuspecting cheating lover.

The beautifully written and sung "Life Goes On" addresses homelessness with both compassion and realism.

"My Wish" is an upbeat dance tune, sure to be a club hit.

Most personal and touching is the eighth track titled "Didn't you Know" a song which surrounds the recent loss of her father to whom the album is dedicated.

But whether its sadness, romance, compassion or straight-up bitchiness she's expressing ... all of Ms Crede's messages convey a truthfulness and vulnerability that compels one to listen. She's charming simply because she's believable.

She is the author/artist of a book titled "Journey through the Heart of a Modern Mystic." The book is a compilation of some of Crede's original, inspiring narrative poetry, prose, art and unedited lyrics, which honors life, love, nature, spirituality and the sacredness of human existence.

The wisdom in her lyrics ... rhyming of her words ... and simple melodies are translated by Ms Crede into musical messages that touch the heart and sooth the soul ... with a voice that carries a deep sincerity within the notes. She is a messenger for her generation and an inspirational role model in showing the world that pursuing dreams is a life long process.
