"Solid Piece of Music Enhanced by an excellent vocal performance"

"The Right Thing" song from Sandra's 2004 LP "From The Inside"
Fresh blues lyric, very thoughtful and emotional. A true statement about life.....the performance is so powerful it never fails to hold the listener's attention.

The opening verse of this lyric is solid and appealing, especially the truth "We torture our soul, and think we oughta know". It all seems genuine for the genre and yet has an intelligent aspect that is found in more contemporary blues artists..... Overall this is a very good blues lyric, intelligent and yet emotional in it's attempt to capture the angst of wrestling with life's choices......a solid piece of music enhanced by an excellent vocal performance. The track itself smokes with some very good electric guitar playing.....Congratulations on your success with this recording.
