Sandra MacBeth

BandPopSinger/Songwriter

Dirty pop! Strong female singer/songwriter with heavier backing sound from the band, upbeat groves, beautiful harmonies. The songs are autobiographical, but not boring singer songwriter style, as in not so sweet. Tom Weights style. Tight, solid hot band with hot boys and girls!

Biography

Baby cried again today
was it something that i said
was i acting surly
did I bring the whole room down
did you fall down on your ass
there's a question you should ask
did i hit you harder than I should have done

'n da da do do da da
do do da
'n da da do do da da
do do da
'n whoa
Ya hoe
'n da da do do da da
do do da
'n da da do do da da
do do da
'n whoa
Ya hoe

Shot the breeze again today
there is nothing more to say
all is said and done
our time has come to let things go
good intentions got mislaid
set back for some other day
it's a crying shame you failed to play the game

'n da da do do da da
do do da
'n da da do do da da
do do da 'n whoa
ya hoe
'n da da do do da da
do do da
'n da da do do da da
do do da 'n whoa
ya hoe-ahaa

Honestly d'you think this could
turn out to be something good
I never knew how hard i tried
untill we both let go
push you back hard as i can
suck it up and be a man
did I love you harder than you'll ever know

'n da da do do da da
do do da
'n da da do do da da
do do da
'n whoa
Ya hoe
'n da da do do da da
do do da
'n da da do do da da
do do da
'n whoa
Ya hoe

'n da da
do do da da
do do da
'n do do da da
do do da

'n
do do da da
do do da

'n do do da da
do do da

'n
do do da da

Conjugal Scene

See where the fat children play
do you ever wonder
the truth about virgins and lovers
and forty a day woodbine girls

see where the transvestites play
do you ever wonder
the truth about is she or isn't he
dressed up in latex and pearls

But we know better then they do
but we know better that they do

See where the truckers get laid
do they ever wonder
is this girl sixteen or seventeen
but they'll do the deed anyway

Woops, see the line we just crossed
i have often pondered
oh, who's that clip cloppin over my bridge
I don't want to look anyway

but we know better than they do
better know better than they do

Look feel the madness come on
are you getting nervous
as pilgrims out journey devours us
can we learn to love it this way

Will you still put up a fight
I have often squandered
the bond between sisters and brothers
but who says who's right anyway

But we know better than they do
but we know better than they do

But we're no better than they are
but we're no better than they are
but we're no better than they are

Waltzing in blue

These are the days to give it our best
don't let it go past my eyes
let a thought catch my breath
these are the days of the Kings and the Glory

something old
something new
something broken
something blue

there once was a time thought that I knew it all
but now I've realised we knew nothing at all
these are the days of the shakers and the movers
see the boys with tourettes
and the girls that they swear at

and oh i do see it
and oh I can feel it
and oh i do
believe in you

I knew it was for me, and it will come again
see a brightness in others and a love we wont leave behind
I wont feel hopeless with these feelings I have inside
we'll just push on, and hold on, and keep on
waltzing in Blue...i do see it
and oh I can feel it
and oh i do
believe in you

and oh I do see it
and oh I can feel it
and oh i do
believe in you
