The Sandra Y. Johnson Quintet is a dynamic straight-ahead jazz and blues group that performs for audiences who appreciate the roots of jazz and blues. We have performed at the 2006 Potomac Jazz and Seafood Festival; the Arlington County Fair; Lubber Run Amphitheater; the East Coast Jazz Festival; the Islander Restaurant; Twins Jazz; Blues Alley Jazz Supper Club; 2005 National Urban League Conference; and the 2005 Herndon Labor Day Jazz and Wine Festival.
Sandra Y. Johnson is the 2007 and 2006 Billie Holiday Vocal Competition 2nd Place Winner. She performs every Friday evening at Laporta's Restaurant in Alexandria, VA.
