Bio
Sang Matiz was born from the idea of Yuriza & Eddie towards the end of 2007 in making a band not only for their love of Latin music but also to express their feelings and ideas of love, compassion, tolerance and respect for people of all cultures and how it is possible through music to bring them together. The band acquired a more defined sound after after joining creative forces with John on Drums, Cata on Vocals, and later refining touches with bassist Chicho and percussionist Tony. Sang Matiz roughly translates to "Blood Mix" to help represent the different backgrounds from its members since the beginning and now coming from places like Peru, Chile, US, and Puerto Rico.
