Lyrics

Let Me Down

Written By: Denise Donahue

Falling out of love is the hardest part
I failed you trying to be someone that I know I'm not
I new as I waited we were fading
'Cause if you say that you're in love you should put me up above
But you just knock me down
And if you say that you're in love you should hold me up above
But you don't
You just knock me down
Falling out of love is the hardest part
Fading in and out of something I know is wrong
Crazy for waiting
I'm still waiting
If you say that you're in love you should put me up above
But you just knock me down
And if you say that you're in love you should hold me up above
But you don't
You say that you're in love, but I know your not
And I'm still waiting for you to give me more than just another day
Waiting.....
But you only let me down
'Cause if you say that you're in love you should hold me up above
But you just knock me down
And if you say that you're in love you should keep me high enough
But you just watch me drown
And when you said our worlds were one I thought that would be enough
Now I know it's not
And if you say that you're in love you should hold me up above
But you just knock me down
You watch me drown
Don't let me down
