"King's of A&R"

"Explosive Hardrock/Metal with Hardcore tendencies and an old-school twist. Comparable to a cross between Nothingface, Snapcase, COC, and Drowning Pool. Experienced and dedicated with a powerful live show, band is undoubtedly skilled in their craft. Could easily see Sappy Bell on a label like Sanctuary, Spitfire, Metal Blade, Century Media, Earache or Nuclear Blast." -

"92.3 Xtreme Radio"

"Sappy Bell brings solid music to their CD, and they don't sound like every other local band in this town. They're not trying to "out-testosterone" the next band. The CD showcases a band with a distinctly modern rock/metal vibe with a hint of Hatebreed/Slipknot-esque vocal styles mixed in to add to the aggression. The songs
flat out rock, tempering the frenetic guitar work underneath the power of vocalist John Sloboda. Sloboda is a
tremendous modern vocalist who can waiver back and forth between clean vocals and all-out punk/hardcore raging. Very solid, good stuff from this act. This is a band that is on the rise!" - Chris Akin; Radio Personality, former MBL editor

Feeling a bit camera shy

Sappy Bell (  Kings of Cleveland’s Metal/Hardcore scene Sappy Bell continue to strive as a DIY band landing video play on Much Music's LOUD and MTV2's HBB, and launching their own radio campaign.  With a new demo co-recorded by Ben Schigel (Drowning Pool, Chimaira, Switched, Erase The Grey) the band took their first two singles straight to radio securing rotation on stations in Lubbock, TX, Chattanooga, TN and Kansas City. The band participated in the MEIC conference (KY), MECA conference in Chicago, and MC2 in Detroit.  The new demo fell into the hands of several band fronted labels such as Flawless and Elementree gaining the band more momentum to place ads in national publications such as AP and Revolver.  Bigger labels such as Roadrunner and Virgin have recently shown interest in the group. The last release, "To Die Again Tomorrow" (6/8/04; Orchard), enjoyed a strong showing at radio via Skateboard Marketing, and the self-produced video for “Sleeping Pills” which was added to some 44+ markets including Much Music. The follow up video, "Salvation" has just been added to MTV2's Headbanger's Ball! The band has opened for several nationals including Nothingface, Stereomud, and Slaves on Dope. Last 3-Song demo with Logan Mader (Machine Head/Soulfly)...being included in new full-length currently at work on. Tony Gaammalo (It Dies Today) producing.
