A word typically reserved for "beyond what is usual," or ordinary, someone who is remarkable, exceptional in character and is rare… this is perhaps the most apt description of a small-town, Iowa turned Colorado girl done good, Sara Simmons.

Her pure powerhouse voice, unsurpassed charisma, voiced with CMA and Dove Awards reining in her future, Sara Simmons is a rare breed of passion combined with an matchless voice. Neither defined by, nor confined to a genre or even a single career path, her talent transcended to industry labels and artistic nooks. Along with a humbleness for honesty, and an uncompromising commitment to use her best talents God's blessed Sara with, it's evident that Sara Simmons—the vocalist, the songwriter, the humbled spirit, —is extraordinarily anointed.
Born in Clarion Iowa and raised in Northern Colorado; a rural farm town known more for its horses and fields than culture, it was there Sara's voice and values were steeped in the tradition of faith.  From the time she could talk Sara was singing in church and at the age of 13, Sara began playing in honky-tonks as well as churches, endearing herself to audiences around the country and Canada with her eliminating, transparent vocals.
CMA and Dove Awards will always be a goal Sara strives to meet, call it icing on the cake if you will, but it's not what defines her distinguished career.  For Sara, moving forward with her career meant moving back to Nashville after a 10 year hiatus and stepping back into her music full time as she watched her first EP sell out at her first gig.

Sara is in the works creating a new self-titled solo album joining her love of southern gospel music with her affection for traditional country music.  Sara is hands on with each project she takes on and plans on being active in the studio whether it's writing or cowriting, or being involed in the sounds and production.  Sara's rise and notoriety as a solo artist as earned her endless recognition among her fans.
