Sara Furrer

Sara Furrer

BandAmericanaCountry

Sara's voice can stop a room cold. Mix a little of Roseann Cash with a splash of Patty Griffin and a sprinkle of Hank's heartache and you'll get close to a set of Sara's music.

Biography

A San Francisco Bay Area native, Sara's musical path has always been varied. She's done top 40 cover tunes, been a member of an arty punk band, sung folky Dylan covers in coffee houses and even took a stab at the SF Symphony Chorus.

Tired of dying her hair, Sara traded in her mohawk for a Collings acoustic guitar and has been putting her unique vocal stamp on Americana music ever since. Her engaging style shines, whether she is working solo, or backed by her fabulous band.

Kiss

Written By: Adam Traum

If I could steal a kiss before you leave
Don’t you know it would mean so much to me
You don’t have to spend the night
I’ll be satisfied to feel the touch of your lips onto mine

Don’t you slip away without saying goodbye
Don’t you slip away into the night

My lips are dry and cracked and full of pain
You’ve been gone too long, I’ve missed your face
I know that things got tough and you got scared
Just put your hand in mine, we’ll go together along

Don’t you slip away without saying goodbye
Don’t you slip away into the night

Just like Peter Pan in Never Neverland
I don’t want to grow old
Darling take my hand

If I could steal a kiss before you leave
Don’t you know it would mean so much to me
You don’t have to spend the night
I’ll be satisfied to feel the touch of your lips onto mine

Don’t you slip away without saying goodbye
Don’t you slip away into the night
