SARAH KELLY is a 16-year old teen with a splash of red brightness in her hair, a cool girl-next-door demeanor, mixed in edgy fashions and a winning spirit. Like a chameleon, she dangles iPod earbuds to the tunes of Maroon 5, Adam Levine, and Sam Smith – even  snapping her Canon 5D Mark 4 along the way, or simply painting murals of visionary images on church walls. 

Sarah was raised in Newnan, Georgia by both parents, who are also sports enthusiasts. At an early age, she and her only brother, who she affectionately describes as her best friend, were exposed to creative elements that surrounded them. She recalls music always being played around her house, to the tunes of Bon Jovi’s “Living on Prayer” and Phil Collins “Calling in the Air,” - her favorite songs. Her fascination for music first began singing Christian hymns in her church choir and at school plays. At just 7-years old, she trained in Italian Opera, at the Georgia Academy of Dance & Performing Arts (a rarity at such a young age), between dance practice and piano lessons.  Sarah reminisces about her mom playing compositions to the stage musical “The Phantom of the Opera,” and reveals, “she studied each song.” Little did she know that hearing the melodies from that stage production would stimulate her classical singing voice. 

Today, the young vocal stylist holds her own with a caliber of chops that tops the list of registered sounds, described as the highest range of voice types in music. Recognizing her gift, she has set her sights on accomplishing her dream of becoming a recording artist. No stranger to competition, Sarah is up for the challenge. 

She has entrusted her career in the very capable hands of super-producer Chris Starr (Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Next…), Founder of CSP Music Group and his team of engineers, who have guided her through the process of recording her songs. Now Sarah is ready for the release of her debut cover single, “Issues,” and accompanying video.

Sarah flows on her debut pop ballad “Issues, whose original version was first released by Julia Michaels (Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Hailee Seinfeld, Gwen Stefani, and Ed Sheeran). The song captures the feeling of how in relationships you can go from feeling the happiest one day to the lowest the next, but the uncertainty of wondering if what you’re feeling is your fault, or the fault of your partner. She shows that it’s OK to be strong and vulnerable at the same time. 

These days Sarah spends time in the booth of Chris Starr’s state-of-the-art Atlanta-based studio, putting the finishing touches on her EP, scheduled for release on Mason J Records. She describes the album as, “thought provoking and emotionally meaningful.” 

One listen and music lovers will be entranced by her distinct vocal range and lyrical value that resonates in her songs.
