Bio

Sarah Eida - a mystique, sultry red head who knows how to create a storm with her bold, breath taking voice.

Sarah performs her music like an open diary, with guitar and piano creating an ambient atmosphere and connection between her and the audience. She writes songs about certain life experiences and sometimes reveals her imaginary world.

Sarah began learning classical piano at the age of seven and by thirteen she discovered that music was her life. After watching a boot leg video of the Smashing Pumpkins Live in Rio, Sarah was in awe and wanted to play the guitar. She took guitar lessons and developed an interest in songwriting.

Over the years Sarah discovered many bands and solo artists that inspired her creativity. She formed bands, joined bands and left bands until she decided to go solo at twenty.

Sarah has done some daring things like giving Tori Amos her Demo when she was on The Bee Keeper Tour in May 2005. She also got a couple of her supportive friends to give The Dresden Dolls her CD and received a very good response from their drummer, Brian Viglione. Early December in 2007, 'Dresden Dolls' Amanda Palmer came down to Australia for her solo tour, promoting her album 'who killed Amanda Palma'. Sarah Eida got the chance to meet the wonderful Amanda and give her a copy her promo dvd.

Sarah is currently signed to independent label Herstory Records, and artist management company Sweet Cecelia Entertainment. She has released 2 EPs, State of Minds and Trophie Girl and is about to release a music video, Trophie Girl in coming months.

Watch out for Sarah.. she is an amazing star on the rise!
