Sarah Flanagan

Sarah Flanagan is a 22-year-old singer and songwriter from Green Brook, New Jersey. As the youngest of 3 children, Sarah developed a knack for capturing people’s attention at an early age. While most kids her age were still learning how to speak, at age 3, Sarah stepped off the suburban streets of New Jersey and into the dance studio. What began as a hobby, quickly evolved into a passion. She continued dancing and performing for 10 more years before she realized that it was not simply dancing that she loved so much. At age 13, Sarah began expanding the scope of her performance abilities by adding theatrical performing to her repertoire. Upon discovering her singing voice and with the fires of performing still burning wildly inside of her, Sarah began to play the guitar. By age 18, Sarah was writing and performing her own music. Shortly after discovering this new passion, she began dreaming of making it big in Music City, singing and writing her own tunes.

Sarah’s writing and performing continued as she began to attend Drew University right after high school. Knowing she wanted to take a different path, she began to contemplate following her dream. With a mixed family reaction, Sarah chose to pack up her life and her guitar and move down to Nashville to chase this dream. Her unique writing style is a mix of folk, pop, and country music, placing her genre somewhere between Jason Mraz and Taylor Swift. Her lyrics and powerful vocals voice sounds of inspiration for the pursuit of love and happiness, in a crazy and unpredictable world. Check her out!
