An audiences' initial response to Sarah is surprise. How can anyone so young write these songs? Where did this petite young woman get this giant voice? Following the first reaction they are captivated by the quality of her voice, the delivery of her performance and what she has to say.

Biography

Influenced the blues, Sarah incorporates country, light rock, western, and folk in to her songs as well. She has been writing songs since before she was a teenager. A song Sarah wrote when she was 16 made the Honorable Mention list for songwriters in American Songwriter Magazine and one of her songs was chosen to be included in Montel Williams' compilation CD for MS. It is the power and the purity of her vocal range combined with her dynamic lyrics that audiences remember.

She first performed at the age of 12 where her audience, not believing their ears, thought she was lip syncing. She began performing at open mics where she found quite a loyal following. It was when she starting playing California's many wineries that her career began to take off. Booked every weekend at wineries for club events and dinners, she also plays festivals, restaurants, or clubs, still finding time to play private parties.

Tell Me

Written By: Sarah Gautschi

Tell me,
Tell me everything,
What to do, and where to go.
Tell me,
Tell me everything,
Call me names for the things
I don't know.
Let me take that craziness off your back.
Let me run into the train,
So you can get back on track.

Chorus:
Tell me why do I hate,
When I should love?
Tell me why do I curse,
At the empty skies above?
Tell me, why don't I take a chance?
I guess, to keep things the same.
Tell me, why would I rather die,
Than let you take the blame?

Tell me,
Tell me everything.
Tell jokes, and tell me lies.
Tell me,
Tell me everything.
Break my heart,
Then stare with those big brown eyes.
Catch me with your hook,
Then let me float.
Come on, baby,
Reel me back into the boat.

Chorus:
Tell me why do I hate,
When I should love?
Tell me why do I curse,
At the empty skies above?
Tell me, why don't I take a chance?
I guess, to keep things the same.
Tell me, why would I rather die,
Than let you take the blame?

It's Not Going To Rain Forever

Written By: Sarah Gautschi

Though I'm chilled to the bone,
Left all alone,
I sense a change in the weather.
It's not going to rain forever.

Chorus:
When is this...
When is this storm going to end?
When is this...
When is this heart going to mend?
I believe I will be shown how.
I believe it will be soon now.
Have faith.
Day break,
Just might
Bring light.

If the clouds blow away,
I'll catch some rays.
Things are going to get better.
It's not going to rain forever.

Chorus:
When is this...
When is this storm going to end?
When is this...
When is this heart going to mend?
I believe I will be shown how.
I believe it will be soon now.
Have faith.
Day break,
Just might
Bring light.

I think I see sunshine.
The next break's mine.
I'll get myself together.
It's not going to rain forever.

Chorus:
When is this...
When is this storm going to end?
When is this...
When is this heart going to mend?
I believe I will be shown how.
I believe it will be soon now.
Have faith.
Day break,
Just might
Bring Light.

Nothing But Good to You

Written By: Sarah Gautschi

I've given my time
And lent you an ear.
Did it occur to you
I have a heart in here?
Can't you think of anyone but you?
When I've been nothing but good,
Nothing but good to you.

I'm tired of hearing her name.
Your talk of her just causes me pain.
Why do you hurt me like you do?
When I've been nothing but good,
Nothing but good to you.

I die a little at a time.
A little more when
You turn and say good-bye.
How can you treat me like you do?
When I've been nothing but good,
Nothing but good to you.

I have no more time to spend.
You were lucky to
Have me as your friend.
When I'm gone will you be blue?
Cause I'm tired of being good,
Tired of being good to you.
Cause I'm tired of being good,
Tired of being good to you.
