Lyrics

Who Gives A Damn

Written By: Sarah Golden

?I’ve got scars along my body
?They all mark a memory
?But the ones that hurt the deepest
?Are the ones you’ll never see
Sticks and stones will break your bones?
But words resound for life?
When the walls came closing in on me
?I did what I had to survive
And I said who gives a damn what you gotta say
?I know who I am, and I was made this way
?Grab a bully by the horns, cast them all away?I know who I am, and I am proud of me, yeah
Times they are a changing
?But it won’t happen overnight
?Who cares when they catch up to you?
Stay true to what’s inside
And you can tell them save their time?
Their hatred and their lies?
No one’s gonna tell me who to love??
Right now I’ll raise my voice
?As if I had a choice
?They’ll get theirs from above
And I said who gives a damn what you gotta say
?I know who I am, and I was made this way
?Grab a bully by the horns, cast them all away
?I know who I am, and I am proud of me, yeah
Who gives a damn what you gotta say
?I know who I am, I was made this way?
Grab a bully by the horns, cast them all away?
I know who I am, and I am proud to be, yeah

Leave It

Written By: Sarah Golden

Take it or leave it?I won’t disagree?
Becoming the person?
That I’m destined to be
Slowly changing?Rearranging my life?
Anticipating, only waiting
?And, baby, just like you I’m just trying to survive
Take it or leave it?This is me?
Stripped to the core, here to implore?
If you won’t let me love you?Let me be
But I tried?Yeah, you tried?
Through the fighting and fussing?
Screaming and cussing
?Long lonely nights and the tears that were cried
Take it or leave it
?This is pain?Out into the unknown
?And I feel so alone?
What seemed to have promise, caused so much pain
So I’ll leave it
?Leave it
