Keep What You Keep

Written By: Sarah Loucks

You reach for the door
I've just settled in
What's passed is still past now look forward
Who am I not to forgive?

You got carried away
Well some things will never change
Stop holding your breath and move onward
No one here is to be blamed

The road to this life looks so steep
If you keep what you keep

You're calling me now
For days in a row
I'm torn into 2 different pieces
One of which picks up the phone

'Cause you're looking to change
Well I'd start with your shoes
Watch the ground that you walk on
And the people who walk over you

The road to this life looks so steep
If you keep what you keep

How long are you gonna wait around for me?
How long are you gonna hold on to me?

'cause the road to this life looks so steep
the road to this life looks so steep
the road to this life looks so steep
if you keep what you keep

Feet On The Pavement

Written By: Sarah Loucks

He left his bike at the side of the road
The sun's gone down and now he's cold
Little feet on the pavement in his heart he believed
That one block over and then he's free

Hold on, it's never too late to find your way home
Hold on, it won't be long

The cars pass by and he walks all alone
Now he's lost his bike and he wants to go home
With tears on his cheek in his heart he's afraid
That forever and ever he'll remain unsaved

Hold on, it's never too late to find your way home
Hold on, it won't be long

A kind man stands at the side of the road
He sees the boy and he sees he's cold
He stoops down low to take his hand as they roam
Those little eyes dry 'cause he sees the way home

Hold on, it's never too late to find your way home
Hold on, it won't be long

Your Old Place

Written By: Sarah Loucks

Hey baby, I've gotta plane to ride
I saw the tears in your eyes as you, as you said goodbye
It was an epic from the start and another to see
Where we are, where we were and that's how it'll always be

Come and meet me out by your old place
Hold my hand and look where I can see your face
We'll push on through
Let's start anew

No matter where I am or the places I see
There's a hole in my heart where I want you to be
When I think about you then and as I think about you now
and I just never stopped loving you somehow

Come and meet me out by your old place
Hold my hand and look where I can see your face
We'll push on through
Let's start anew

It took some time to find that I
and you have long been overdue
