A factotum artist and her debut album, “Untitled Book” was entirely made by Sarah Micol Panico, from Civitanova Marche. “it’s my debut album”- the singer says-“ I wrote, recorded and produced”. I don’t have any record label supporting me, then the album is available only online ( www.sarahmicol.com) . The album is in English, it’s a melodic pop and I used a lot of piano and strings for the songs arrangement. By the way, I played all the instruments. I started composing the track for this album when I found I was expecting my son, that life I was carrying in my womb made reconsider my past 28 years life and made me look ahead”. Sarah Micol won the Ivan Graziani award and performed at the Umbria jazz festival - Resto del Carlino
I met the music of Sarah Micol by chace, and since the first time I had a listen I understood this girl had a gift. A wonderful voice and amazing musical tastes, are here melted in delicate arrangements, where sophisticated choices perfectly texturize with a sso warm and amazing voice you can just dream when you listen to it. Here you'll find a wide range of styles, nothing will ever bore you. From Pink Floyd styled alternative vocal line (as in "It's you") to delicate and melodic (with claassical elements in the arrangement) of "Untitled Book". This is also my preferred song, cause it cause of his delicate arrangement. Sarah has a wonderful voice and may sing anything from pop to country to world to... to just what she wants! I highly recommend a listen to the complete CD: you'll love it as I love it, I know it already. My compliments: a GREAT job, a highly recommended CD! Take the time to go through Sarah's collection of material and you will be rewarded in different ways. Lyrically, musically, and with voice(s) of angels, you can be part of Sarah's creative world. Lots of power and grace in this one folks -- give it a spin.
