Sara Shea

SARA SHEA grew up in Springfield, Massachusetts, the middle child of three in an Irish Catholic family. When she wasn't playing soccer, she watched game shows and would try to imagine how the program's host would sum up her life when she was introduced during inevitable future appearances. Her dream introduction almost always included her plans to become a private detective. That is, until she realized one day while watching Remington Steele that she might be shot at by one of the very criminals she was investigating.

Sara graduated with a degree in English Literature from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and lived in Atlanta and New York before moving to Los Angeles. It was there that she decided to try her hand at stand-up, and she's been doing it ever since. Did I mention Sara loves to drink seltzer? She also realized her dream of appearing on a Game Show. Perhaps one day you'll catch her winning appearance on Lingo! She was introduced not as a private detective, but as the Super Fun Friend of Jen Parker, her teammate for the appearance. It's not an introduction she could have ever predicted, but it beats being shot at for a living. Besides, she couldn't be happier. Well, she'd like to get a dog. And have a deck from which to BBQ. But that's really all she needs: a dog, and a deck, and enough money to keep her in seltzer.
