Short Bio:

Rock/Roots Folkstress Sasha Lewis is being called BC's little treasure. When describing Sasha's performances and recordings, adjectives like "a new and original voice in Canadian songwriting" come to mind, also, "inspiring folk-rock". Possessing a powerful range and presence Lewis has honed her distinctive songwriting abilities into a unique style that arises out of her life story. Not only has Sasha been showcased at the Roots and Blues Music Festival but her song "Reasons" is on The Province Playlist. Lewis has been nominated for Peoples Choice at the 2011 BC Interior Music Awards, also in 2010 one of her co-written songs was nominated at the BCIMA’S in the Urban category. With her edgy vocals and thoughtful lyrics, she hits all the right emotions and pulls at the heart strings. Having a strongly developed background within her craft she has attracted a genuine and ever growing fan base of supporters who have followed her since the first strum on her guitar and stroke of her pen.

Hailing out of the small village of Dunster, tucked away in the mountains of Canada BC, comes rock/roots folkstress Sasha Lewis. Possessing a powerful range and presence Lewis has honed her distinctive songwriting abilities into a unique style that arises out of her life story. Now relocated in Salmon Arm, B.C Sasha is busy working on career development prospects, and promotional opportunities to further her career from the foundation she has already built by her own right. Rooted her debut album is already getting much radio play on many stations across Canada including CBC. Supported by independent distribution world wide for sales has been a step up to sustaining her longevity career as a recording artist and attracting international buzz. From touring and performing continuously has helped Sasha stay connected to her old and new budding fans.

Being grounded through true experience Lewis is a song writing machine and a much sought after studio vocalist. Earning a stand-out reputation for a myriad of other production talents including guest speaking, events coordinator, journalist, and a CBC radio session musician, she also has been showcased at the Roots and Blues Music Festival. Collaborating with many music groups and artist she is now putting her skills to use with producing and publicity work.
