Born: 12/20/1983 • Asheville, NC
Mike has been playing guitar for 14 years.
He moved to Charlotte for school at
UNCC to study business. February 2006
was his first solo gig at Mojo Bay. Since
then he’s played all over Charlotte with
a handful of talented accompaniments.
Mike spent a lot of his childhood in his
mom and dad’s print shop located in
south Asheville. He says that he got his
melody from his mom who played the
organ at church, his love for rock and roll
from his older brother who played in the
band ‘Shady Tree’ in Raleigh NC, and his
timing from the print press.

Born: 4/09/1986 • Upstate NY
Brent moved down from Upstate NY to
study Anthropology at UNCC. At the
age of 16 he started playing drums in
high school for the steel drum band.
Brent was the “fidgety kid” tapping on
anything he could get his hands on.
Bwalla has a natural ear for sound, and
a dynamic mind with his drum sticks.

Born: 09/28/1986 • Charlotte, NC
Julian has been playing guitar for 12
years, joining his first band at 14. He
studies communications at UNCC, and
hopes to continue his education at
Full Sail in Orlando, Fl. for recording
engineering. He has a strong blues
style of playing influenced by Eric
Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn. This
kid has talent written on his name tag.

Born: 07/29/1986 • High Point, NC
Harry studies Architecture at UNCC. He
started playing bass in the 8th grade and
got a chance to record a demo as well as
play a local showcase with his best friend
that same year. In high school, he played in
a few bands including ‘Big Orange Lovely’.
Harry plays with a funk style and has
serious skill.
