Bio
Born and raised in Japan until he came to the USA for graduate study in Comparative Religion. (Though SATORU is not a member of any religious group, he has been most strongly influenced by Buddhist philosophy.) As a co-founder, he established Viz Media and developed the company into the largest Manga (Japanese comics) and Anime (Japanese animation) publisher in the USA. A few years ago, he became a part-time consultant for the company to pursue his life-long passion, music. He also is a singer for one of the most exciting San Francisco progressive rock bands, THE THUNDERS.
