Sauce Policy

Sauce Policy is an east coast meets west coast music experience converging in Portland, OR. Headed by the California funk and reggae stylings of Mike Apodaca on the drums, the sound weaves it's way in and out of grooves and influences too numerous to name. Karl Gottfried (guitar) and Evan Malfer (bass) bring the east coast flavor to the band straight out of their home towns in New York. Sauce Policy is rounded off by another guitarist/vocalist Yarley Nystrom, whose infectious and cerebral lead vocals paint a vivid and intense sound over the crowd-shaking grooves that lie beneath. Keep your eyes and ears open as these four dynamic musicians continue to bring their ever-changing blend of funk, rock, reggae, and improvisation to cities across the country.
