Bio

SAUL A.D. was formed as a band in 2008 when lead singer Saúl Echevarria, guitarist Alberto Ramirez, and drummer Ryan Leyton teamed up to record their first EP at Coda Record House in Lincoln, Nebraska. The EP was produced by Case Maranville, the bass guitarist from the nationally known Christian band VOTA. SAUL A.D. will be back in the studio in the early summer of 2009 completing their full length self titled album. Although the style of music and lyrical composition do not aim to deliberately mirror the genre of “praise & worship”, the songs of SAUL A.D. definitely inspire believers to worship, and non-believers to look to Jesus.

This project had been brewing in lead singer Saúl’s spirit for the better part of a decade while having been dedicated to composing songs, leading a music ministry, and serving as youth pastor at his local church in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Saúl and Alberto had been playing together for most of that time. Ryan joined the trio at its conception in 2008. SAUL A.D. aims to give glory to The Creator by making Him and His wonders known through music and song.
