“Saules Kliosas” was formed in the summer of 2000. “Saules Kliosas” was formed in the summer of 2000. Through bands history there are some events to remember: December 2000 first place in the regional music contest “Staircase”. 2000 and 2003 the band took part in “Siauliai Jazz Festival”, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006 international festival “Kaunas Jazz". 2004, 2005 participation in international jazz festival "Mama jazz". 2006 participation in international festival "Vilnius city jazz". 2001 first place and the prize of public sympathies in competition of young jazz artist, organized by the music club “Broadway”. The same year, award of public sympathies in “Nida Music Festival”. 2002 the third place in national Eurovision contest, 2004 seventh place, 2005 fifth place. First place in artist festival “Doors 2002” and the most perspective group in the European song festival in Zielona Gora 2002 (Poland). The jazz and blues band of the year in music club “Broadway” awards 2002. In 2004 band performed at "Tudengi jazz" festival in Estonia.
In 2003 “Saules Kliosas” recorded its first album which has been released in 2004.
The Band is working on new Album at the moment.
We hope to release it in the begining of 2008.
