"Kenny Rogers' Show in Kettering, OH"

“Kenny Roger’s warm-up band, Nashville-based Savannah Jack, is a hot, harmonizing, high-energy trio whose original tunes include "Don’t Threaten Me" and "I Feel Your Pain." If you've never heard of them, go to their Web site: savannahjack.com. They're worth your time.” - Dayton (Ohio) Daily News

"Client Comments"

“We have had Savannah Jack play here at the Tropicana several times in the past year, and they absolutely rock the house. They are great guys and one of our favorite bands…..period.”
Jackie Pinto, Tropicana Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas

“The best band hands down that I have seen in country music today. Incredible harmonies…..great players. I consider them to be the “Alabama” of the 21st Century.”
Joe Guercio, former music director for Elvis Presley

“Savannah Jack has performed for our family at numerous parties and corporate events and every time, they get better and are more fun to have. They are such a pleasure to deal with and are so considerate and interactive with our guests. We love them!”
The DeBartolo Family (Previous owner of the San Francisco 49er’s)

“I had Savannah Jack open for Peter Frampton, The Doobie Brothers, Vince Gill and Amy Grant at Copper Country in Copper Mountain, Colorado. They had the house standing on their feet three or four songs into their set. I highly recommend these guys for any venue.
Bob Burwell, Producer of Copper Country

“I would categorize Savannah Jack as true professionals who possess high energy with great vocal quality and incredible three part harmony. Here at the ‘Big E’, they captured the audience two or three songs into their set, a rare feat for any newcomer.”
John Juliano, Eastern States Exposition “The Big E”

The Treasure Mountain Festival Association (Franklin, W. Va.) feels lucky to have found Savannah Jack. Their recent appearance at our festival would be better called an event than a mere performance. For two hours I watched a standing room only crowd remain enthusiastically engaged. They were the best group we’ve ever had and we’ve invited them back next year!

Ron Kirk, Event Co-ordinator

“Savannah Jack was the perfect band to make our Grand Opening at Blackstone Country Club a completer success. The membership can’t wait to have them back”
Bob Schmidt General Manager Blackstone Country Club – Phoenix, AZ

“Savannah Jack has a huge catalog of songs. They interact with their audience at an unbelievable level. We also ring about 30% higher on the nights they play versus other bands. There are tons of bands in Nashville, but Savannah Jack is always my first choice.”
Shawn Hungate General Manager Graham Central Station – Nashville, TN

"I Want Them Back!"

“I’ve owned this legendary club here in Tombstone for over 7 years, and this is by far the best band I’ve had. Not only are they incredible singers and pickers, but they entertain better than any band I’ve ever seen. They actually had people dancing on the bar! I want them back any time I can get them.” - Crystal Palace Saloon - Tombstone, AZ

"I Was Blown Away!"

Hello, Just wanted to say that you guys sure do know how to put on a great show. I especially loved the 3 part harmonys and the songs should be big hits in the not too distant future. Being front row center, I was blown away with your showmanship and talent. I wish you guys the very best and looking forward to more music in the future, a new fan, Ed. - Ed/Fan

Hard work… determination… sacrifice… those three terms aptly define what Savannah Jack (SJ) is all about. Years of hard work and a determination to succeed at the highest level has sharpened the skills of and paved the way for Don Gatlin, Mike Ulvila, and Jay Darby. Each had fronted bands in Pennsylvania, Montana, and Florida respectively before getting together in 2004 to create an incredible sound with a concentration on extraordinary three part harmony. The sacrifice evolved when each recognized the immense talent of the other two and cast aside individual aspirations and dreams to form Savannah Jack.

Trying to describe a Savannah Jack performance can be a challenging task. Joe Gercio, Elvis Presley’s long time musical and orchestra director, calls SJ “the best band in country music today… the “Alabama” of the 21st Century”. While that is certainly a compliment of the highest order, it only partially describes the abilities of this amazing trio. Although Savannah Jack is based out of Nashville, their live show is tailored to fit the needs of virtually any audience and ranges from straight ahead country music to southern rock to classic rock, focusing on the super groups of 70ties and 80ties. In fact, their versions of covers of such diverse bands as The Eagles, The Doobie Brothers, Exile, and The Gatlin Brothers are so spot on that standing ovations occur frequently during and always after their concerts. SJ feels equally at home whether sharing the stage in a huge arena as a frequent opening act for the legendary Kenny Rogers, performing in a convention center as the entertainment for a corporate party, rocking it out at the famous Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, or keeping the dance floor full in a night club, such as the famed Whiskey River in Macon, Georgia. SJ can also scale down to a three piece acoustic show and still deliver a high quality rendition of their full band concert in a more subdued and intimate setting.

In addition to possessing the tightest harmony of any group to come along in recent memory, SJ has a dynamic stage show which infuses world class vocals with a high level of energy and showmanship, resulting in an unforgettable musical experience. It is clearly obvious that the members of Savannah Jack love making music and are having a blast, whether they are performing in a small venue in Nashville or playing in front of thousands of people in sold out amphitheatres across the country.

If you haven’t heard them yet, better get on board and get ready for a ride. If you don’t, you don’t know “Jack” . . . SAVANNAH JACK
