Save Pointe

BandAlternativeRock

Long story short, Save Pointe is a Chicago band that combines acoustic instrumentation with electronic sampling.

Biography

Save Pointeƕs music is the perfect marriage between lamented acoustic instrumentation with the ebullience modern technology. Their lyrics are metaphoric journeys placing life experience into carefully crafted stanzas. Guitarist, Daniel Kemp is an Orland Park native who has grown up in the Chicago independent music scene. After years of fly by night bands, 2004 paired him with accomplished solo artist, the then Miss Brooke Blary. Under the moniker, The Red Tie Affair, they inevitably enlisted the talents of a cult status underground metal drummer, Shawn Connors and a friend of a friend of a friend to fill the open bass slot, in Frank Nemec. Upon coming to the conclusion that the refurbished band had run its course, the members hit the reset button and in 2008 decided to start over from scratch. The new project would be the product of internal evolution. Save Pointe is currently hard at work on their first EP, writing new material and bringing their new sound to a stage near you. All part of their plan to take over the world one stereo at a time.
