Bio
Save the Humans for Later is an evolving art rock movement, that has spanned the decades. D. Black and S. Stip have been working together off and on since the late 80's. Their most notable of many bands was the very obscure Brain Scrape. They have expanded the pure noise project, into an eclectic noise art rock sound. The band has presently based all of it's songs on topics of horror, sci-fi, conspiracy theory and evil. A month after they started the project D. Black suffered a paralyzed vocal chord, but they did not let that discourage them. In fact it gives them a unique and unmatched sound. S. Stip mixes in the beats and sound samples he has collected over many years of recording unique noises, and voice samples. J. Villa joined the project early on. He and S. Stip played together in Opaque, a Dallas based band. S. Resp Joined the band last, as a means to help pay for his extensive STD care. His bass completed the sound perfectly. Sadly his STDs were more advanced and exotic than conventional science could cure. He moved to Angkor Wat in Cambodia to seek physical and spiritual treatment for his illnesses. S. Webb (aka Mauve Oed) has since joined on bass and his sporadic style brings a new sense of energy to the band's sound. In an effort to show support for the local Goth scene of which he is not part of, M. Fitz. changed his name to Dark Black (D. Black). If you wanna hear your average chorus refrain chorus refrain rock contribution this band is not for you. Save the Humans For Later mixes decades of musical influences; From Early Butthole Surfers and Flaming Lips to Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV. This is something you probably haven't heard before, but it's perfect for someone looking to stretch their horizons. We hope you enjoy our efforts here, and keep in touch as this project will surely evolve further.
The live show is where we shine. So please come out and see us.
