Bio

Saving Face is a sound 100 years in the making. A vision grown from the love of music and community. In the fall of 2006, a group of local musicians came together to share their talent and love of music, in a means to perform the greatest hits from yesterday and today. Individually, the members of Saving Face, have been performing in the south for some time, and have found much success in the music industry. What started as a project for local charities and entertainment, has blossomed into what is now a premiere cover band in the mid-state area. Singer/Songwriter and Saving Face lead, J. Ferguson, said this about his experiences collaborating with these fellow musicians, “It has been an awesome ride! To be able to play with such a talent group of guys really feels like anything is possible. Taking a break from writing and producing, and just to sit back, jamming to our favorite songs, really is an amazing and humbling experience. We’re so excited that we are mixing genres and bringing fans of all types of music, to just have a great time.”
And its true. Saving Face is a relaxing, enjoyable experience for any music listener. There are no boundaries and no shortage of talent covering the greatest songs of this generation. “It’s the best. Period.” says, bassist, Christopher Block. “Where else can you have a group, made of some of Nashville’s greatest new talent, playing Journey, Chris Daughtry, Elton John, Brian McKnight, The Fray, Kenny Chesney, all in one case? No where. That’s where.”
Going back to it’s roots, Saving Face also has performed for Churches, fundraisers, and any venue where enjoying music is at a premium. Taking a break from their individual careers, this group comes together for an opportunity to enjoy all the favorites and do what they do best, put on a show. “It rocks! Sometimes, I can’t tell you how may times I’ve put in a cover of our music, and mistake it for the the band we‘re covering. I’m sure we catch a lot of ears the same way.” “I love to jam. That’s it,” says Cameron Reed and Blake Morris of Saving Face.
For any party or event, Saving Face is a sure way to bring people together. On the crossroads of good music, and good times, Saving Face is meeting people right in the middle.
