Replace the Y with an I and you are left with Savvi, one of the most refreshing young hip-hop artists of this generation.

Catchy songs with infectious grooves and melodies are tinged with ol' school flavor bringing a blast from the past to the music scene. As a child Savvi heard Funk for the first time and instantaneously fell in love with the groove. She then began writing poems at an early age and was amazed by the combination of lyrics and music. She hasn't stopped making music since.

Savvi teamed up with Grammy Award Winning producer Eddie "Crack Keys" Montilla on her solo debut EP. The record is a classic fusion of new and old schools. Savvi wrote, co-produced and engineered the EP stating that "If you want something done right you have to do it yourself."

Savvi is currently based out of Orlando, FL where she makes up half of the up and coming production team Who Knew? The team, made up of Savvi and producer/keyboardist Jason Mohr, is diligently working on Savvi's full length album. The album will fuse new and old schools, hip hop and r n b, smooth jazz and latin and countless other blends. It will feature special appearances by Bobbi Ruffin, Jason Mohr and two members of the Rick James Band on guitar and bass. It is a commercial record with catchy hooks and rhythmic flows with splashes of musicianship and soul straight out of the 70's and 80's.
