Bio
The Savvy Seven is a Pop-Rock cover band from Southern California performing a variety of songs that spans four generations of music. This diversity gives them a unique sound to be enjoyed by music fans from all walks of life.
The Band was founded by lead singer Jen Dodge and guitarist Ron Burrows. Both were teachers at Cedarlane Academy in Hacienda Heights, CA. The two of them found out that they weren't the only teachers in the school who had musical expertise. Together with Jessica Miller on guitar and her husband Ross Miller on bass, Kenny Allen on guitar, Marissa Blessum on the drums, and Principal Jan Ezaki on the keyboards, they became the Savvy Seven.
Up until the Covid-19 pandemic, Savvy Seven had been performing in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas at various schools and venues. Students are amazed by the expertise exemplified by a group of teachers who sing and play their instruments with a high level of proficiency.
Their goal is to perform a variety of music which can be enjoyed by students and adults of all ages. They hope to expand their base in California to other areas throughout the United States.
