"Impose Mag, Scene & Heard: Ghosthunter's Club Show Plainview, NY"

http://www.imposemagazine.com/mag/index.php/2008/02/07/ghost-hunters-club-show-plainview-long-island-ny/

"...Roizman’s pet project Say No! To Architecture followed with a carefully abbreviated set that was apparently a sort of mash up / showcase of a few of his compositions. His rig, in the face of its towering results, is a relatively simple line of three guitar pedals. But with this small is beautiful / less is more approach, Roizman manages to ring his arrangements into a sort of vibrational frenzy: it’s a hissing, droning mass that can roll ineluctably through basement walls, but it doesn’t start that way. It’s often built off of simple, almost punk rock guitar stabs and bright, post-rock melodies, carefully lopped and mangled, methodically and meditatively over the course of his long-play compositions:" - Impose Magazine

"LI Press: Ghosthunter's Club Co-op Showcase #8"

"...Since 2006, Ghosthunter's Club Co-Op, an LI-based non-profit organization of DIY artists and musicians, has shown off their wares to the community from their basement headquarters in Plainview. Hosting basement shows on the Island, as well as various venues around the Tri-State Area, GHCC has provided up-and-coming artists with channels to get their music to the public-which is necessary, as most local promoters are less-than-amenable to GHCC's intense sounds, which range from punk-inspired ambient psychedelia to shoegaze-laced hardcore. As they got their start in the basement, it's fitting that GHCC's Saturday night show will take place in the Knitting Factory's basement. The bill includes Long Island natives Say No! to Architecture, F-ing Hell and Lorem Ipsum, as well as Brooklyn-based post-punk inspired Family of Love and Westchester's eclectic, classically influenced punkers No One and the Somebodies. For fans of artists such as The Arcade Fire, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Death from Above 1979, Deerhunter, or for those just plain interested in supporting their cultural community. Advance tickets available through ticketweb.com" - Long Island Press

"Plan B Mag, Issue 22: June 2007"

They say: "The music of two young suburbanites who don't leave their houses much." We say: Their 'Experimental/Ambient/Psychedelic' tag is actually unexpectedly, pretty much on the money - SN!TA sound like double-exposures, haunted beaches, and/or public transport in bad neighbourhoods. It's texturised machine drone that flickers between beauty and menace, as only people who run a musicians co-op called Ghosthunters Club could, perhaps. www.myspace.com/saynotoarchitecture.

"Say No! to Architecture"

Say No! To Architecture
June 2009
Death By Audio, Brooklyn, NY
By Andres Jauregui

Allen Roizman’s one-man-band blew me away at the otherwise sleepy inaugural Northside Festival this past June. Death By Audio is a hub for under-the-radar talent in Brooklyn, and Allen is just one of the many acts that I’ve had the pleasure of catching there for the first time. He begins his songs by tapping out a snare drum beat into a loop pedal, adds ornament with an egg-shaped shaker, then layers keyboards and guitar until a deafening but melodic swell overpowers the room. And then it stops, and he does it again. And again. This photo owes a lot to Allen’s stooped posture, and to the clip light that bathes the scene in a warm glow not totally incongruous with the beautiful noise that he crafts.
