Sayu Beatz

SAYU is short for "Spirit Appreciate Your Uniqueness" a brand inspired by nature, in broadest terms. When it comes to music, SAYU is the new age classics. Combining Hip Hop, Pop, Neo-soul, smooth jazz, uplifting soul, alternative rock with a dash of ethnic influence.

Why Sayu?
As a young child I was very quiet and shy but always had that creative spark inside me. Witnessing my parents dramatic split at age 5 and watching my mom struggle to raise 4 children on her own moving from a somewhat troubled neighborhood to a place where you're surrounded by rich families with lavish lifestyles, jealousy, depression, anger, and envy plagued my thoughts. Throughout my days of school and sports I was constantly challenged by teachers, coaches, friends, and sometimes even my mom unknowingly. "Your too small, not smart enough, not skilled enough, etc." I believed in those words and tucked away what made me unique and special until I found music at age 21. It was then where I began to finally find my voice and build my confidence. My mission in life is to inspire the lost voice, deep inside us, to come out and not be afraid to be different. We're all the same but our uniqueness is what defines us.
