Scarlet Fade is made up of four siblings from Connecticut. The name Scarlet Fade came from Isaiah 1:18 - "though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be white as snow." Scarlet Fade has been together for 5 years and they now have 20 originals with many more in the making. The inspiration to write these songs comes from real life experiences and the desire to give people a hope in God for the future. Bands like Need to Breathe, The Elms, Falling Up, Switchfoot, Eisley, and The Beatles inspire the way they write the music portion of their songs. Scarlet Fade has a five-song demo Believe EP with the feature song "Ask Me" on it. They recorded their album in early 2006 and have greatly evolved musically into a rock/alternative band.
