ScarsLikeOurs was formed in the Autumn of 2004. In the Winter of 2005 they quickly recorded and released a 4 song demo. The next six months were spent playing shows and writing new songs. In the Summer of 2005 ScarsLikeOurs self recorded, produced, and released thier first album. With the new album out, playing shows became a weekly routine. Now 2006, Scars is putting the final touches on thier new material recorded at Sanctuary Studios in Lawrence, MA. The tracklist includes newer versions of Over and Out, Darkest Portrait, and The Last Line, previously on thier first album. The new recordings also include 5 to 6 fresh tracks that they play out often. Some of our influences are: The Misfits, Metallica, Pantera, NOFX, Strung Out, Alkaline Trio, The Descendents, Against Me, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and more. What sets us apart from other bands is our tight energetic sound, which is truly expressed at our shows!
