Scary Girls

Scary Girls is a post-folk garage band out of San Francisco that brings the raw vibes up to the bay. Our influences are Girls, Smith Westerns, Velvet Underground, Jenny Lewis, Hank Williams, and Townes Van Zandt. Scary Girls consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Sammi Kraft, the main and only girl that brings heartbreak and angst to every show. All college students at San Francisco State, Scary Girls is looking to show the world what it means to be stuck in school that drains brain cells, money, and desire to stay. It's the first time audiences will see an androgynous girl whaling about girls instead of boys, cigarettes instead of shopping, and being stuck in the only place that has given us a real home.
