Hailing from the greater Charlotte metro area, Scattered Sun is a four piece that evenly blends the hard rock aesthetic of classic acts such as The Doors and Black Sabbath with the postmodern, "anything goes" attitude of eclectic bands like Faith No More and Queens of the Stone Age. With such a wide variety of influences, it comes as no surprise that the music of Scattered Sun can be a little hard to pin down. A three-and-a-half minute crowd pleaser followed by an epic sonic excursion clocking in at over five minutes, followed by 120 seconds of controlled musical chaos are all part of the unique sound and attitude that define what this band stands for.
