Bio

Taking the name of a bygone railway station near their hometown of Chillicothe, Ohio, Schooley Station have been performing regionally since 2003.

The quartet began as a duo, with only Richard Lewis and James Bahleda, for several months before adding Joe Gillum on drums. That configuration continued for nearly a year before including saxophonist/guitarist Ashley Good. Ashley has since moved, and the band has filled his void with Lewis' own brother, Jeff Lewis on guitar.

Due to their wide array of influences and preferences, Schooley Station prides themselves in creating unique music. At times, their sound can be reminiscent of American folk rock of the early 1970s, while simultaneously evoking a newer Britpop feeling.
