School Street Ramblers

The School Street Ramblers (SSR) got their start in a local Alexandria Presbyterian church playing that wonderful "stained-glass bluegrass" that reconnects us with a simpler and slower-paced time. Initially a trio consisting of guitar, mandolin, and harmonica, the Ramblers have recently rounded out the instrumentation with banjo and bass and expanded their song list of originals and added few covers of rock and country tunes injected with some "grass". With the lineup complete, SSR is ready to provide you with toe-tapping entertainment on Saturday night or enhance your musical worship experience on Sunday morning!
