Bio
After filling the lead guitar role in the Huntington, WV based bands Sleep Throttle and Wonderful Pills, Grubbs had a personal crisis of epic proportions. After receiving a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Grubbs suffered a personal loss and wandered the streets of Portland, OR, seemingly on a path to nowhere. 2 years later he migrated to Columbia, SC, where his Mother resides, and found a new purpose in life: to resume playing music. Before his trip into "the wilderness," Grubbs was only a dabbling composer, but after investing in a home studio, he found that he had a gift not only for guitar arrangements, but drums, bass, strings, synths, and whatever else he could punch up on the PC. Grubbs has undergone an intense period of creativity in 2007, composing upwards of 20 songs in just over 6 months time since he left his post as an audio engineer with a local TV station. He is currently working on his first full length release entitled "See Major," a concept album featuring three trilogies of songs based around Politics, Media, and Spirit.
