Bio

Cocky upstart. Wow what a way to be described. That's exactly what they call South Jersey native Scoop Lo. Born in Camden New Jersey music has been his lifes major alternative. He says he doesn't like to get into personal matters. When you've seen it all you don't want to hear anything. Going threw transitions that leave most people scarred Scoop is surprisingly optimistic. They say it's hard to make a transition from the streets to the fame. How much of a understatemant that is? How about to the fame just to be back were you started? Being one half of rap/rb duo Gemini seemed to be the next big thing. Sometimes small things kill the big things. Scoop was left to either sink or swim. Swimming was it. A few choice meetings and he was back at it. With the help of Kajimir Royale at the production helm he came delivering blow after blow to the music industry. Described as the results of a Missy Jay-z Usher threesome his performance is nothing less then fantastic.
Scoop took some time off from music at one point to attend Fairleigh dickinson University. During this time he began learning the behind the scenes and fine details in the music industry that are so easily overlooked. Leaving with a Degree in marketing he returned to what he did best performing.
He was asked to work behind the scenes on major and indie artists projects because of his keen sense of branding. This led him to meet industry insiders most notably Stephen Strother who was instrumental in the early stages of Usher's career. he was then introduced to Shani Gonzalez formerly of Defjam. She was impressed with the young man but saw a bigger potential then just a artist so she let him go. He now joins a distinct roster for The Debonaire Group. He has been getting considerable airplay internationally and is talks of working with Benny Bassi. No breaks all wins.
