Bio

22 year old Scope is a prominent UK hip-hop artist. Early chart success with UK iTunes hip-hop top 10 & top 40 album gave Scope the courage to go it alone and in 2016 he bought back all rights to his music before releasing ‘95 Thoughts’ EP as an independent early 2016, production by Wizzy Wow.

An outstanding performance at Scotland's famous T in the Park festival followed in the summer of 2016.

This was one of the high points of a whirlwind of performances, including headlining smaller festivals in the UK.

Scope finished 2016 with a European support tour with the legendary international rapper Obie Trice and in Gothenburg Sweden with a live performance at Jaki Da with UK Grime heavyweight Frisco.

Recognition for his live performances came when Lewis was awarded ‘Best Performing Artist’ by The Sunday Herald Culture and Music Awards. A red carpet entrance at the MOBO awards late 2016 ended a prolific year of work where it was evident Lewis is now a familiar face and friend in the inner circle of UK urban music.

Scope has been traveling between London, Los Angeles, Sweden, New York and Austin, Texas –recording new material with internationally acclaimed producers including Wizzy Wow, EY, Quab, Bassy Bob, Da Beat Freakz, Cy Fyre, Macho Psycho and more..

In Los Angeles and Texas, he has been working on new material with the hugely-respected Cy Fyre (Dr Dre, TY Dolla $ign and Meek Mill) with the first track from those sessions ‘House in the Jungle’, Scope’s live smash song, released in early April 2017. The video for the track was been filmed  and directed in Barbados by Chas Apetti (Wretch 32, Tinie Tempah ..)

House in the Jungle is the first of a prolific release plan where tracks accumulated from months of studio work with some of the best in the business will be released.

Lewis started 2017 with a sold out smash performance at Glasgow St Lukes with a cooperation with the sensational ‘Federation of the disco pimp’ and supporting London rappers Tinie Temapah and J-hus.

Lewis is in the preparation stages of his second album being recording in New york this winter. Aiming to be released Spring 2018 followed by a solid festival run.
