Bio

Dejema A.Campbell better known by his stage name Scorp Dolo, is an American rapper and actor.

Campbell was born and raised in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, New York the same area which gave us Jay-Z , The Notorious BIG, Lil Kim and Maino.

More than your average Brooklyn street rapper Scorp has the ability to paint a lyrical picture so descriptive almost anyone can be drawn into. His songs cut through the noise with a perfect blend of street smarts and true intelligence.

Some of my influences are Slick Rick and Notorious
Biggie Smalls. My creativity as an artist is born from the things I
experience. It can be inspiration from friends, family or the world itself. Music that I write is about love, happiness, relationships, life changing moments, patriotism and of coarse the streets and neighborhoods we all live in.

On stage Scorp's dynamic personality shows through with a bold confidence and presence that leaps right out at the listener. He has performed in venues from the Amarachi Lounge in Brooklyn to the Magic Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Scorp has also spent time in front of the camera appearing in the 2007 film "44" as well as Jay-Z's "Who You Wit", Eminem's "Fight Music" and Jaheim's "Anything" remix, videos. He has also appeared on The Dave Chappelle Show.

Scorp's style and delivery was so unique that it caught the attention of The Notorious BIG. Just prior to his untimely death they were in the process of shaping a deal that would have made Scorp one of the first artist on BIG's "The Commission" record label.

Scorp is currently recording a new project that is sure to leave its mark and solidify him as one of Brooklyn's Finest!
