With a knack for pumping out infectious, high-energy garage rock slammers, Melbourne band ScotDrakula have made an impressive name for themselves over the past four years.
Having toured nationally and internationally, the Canadian, New Zealand and Australian-born mates have also supported the likes of Mac DeMarco (Canada), Thee Oh Sees (USA), King Khan & BBQ Show (USA), Hunx & His Punx (USA), White Lung (USA), Upset (USA), The Courtneys (Canada), The Coathangers (USA), Hinds [formally Deers] (Spain), and POND (Australia).
Following two successful EPs and a 7", ScotDrakula released their debut, self-titled LP at the end of 2014. Described by Pitchfork as "the sound of hijinx on a beautiful day", the album is a collection of 10 deliciously floor-pounding, shout along songs that see ScotDrakula at their most creative - shredding, snarling and jangling, whilst also exploring rich sonic textures. In 2015, the trio expanded to become a four-piece are they are currently planning a North American tour for later on in the year.
ScotDrakula are a band that work hard, play harder, and have a damn good time doing so!
