$cottie Pimppen, born in Dallas, TX, is the driving force behind a new generation of MCs. Following in the footsteps of such artists as Pimp C, Bun B, 8ball & MJG and Yo Gotti, he is bringing pimp music to a whole new generation of fans.
His first outing, Rally World, was as a Rally Boy using the stage name Yung Paine. That put him alongside the likes of E40, Roger Troutman, Too $hort, Big Tymers and Lil Wayne. This inevitably lead to being invited to be part of a Ruff Ryders/Ca$h Money tour that included DMX, Eve, Lil Wayne, Juvenile, among others.
He spent the next several years honing his craft, developing a brand and making connections with other artists. Some of these connections planted the seeds for a recording contract with Yo Gotti’s Cocaine Muzik Group and the formation of his own label, P$ociety.
The $cottie Pimppen brand is single handedly bringing pimp music back to hiphop. No other artist conjures unfiltered realness and imagery like him. His first mixtape under CMG, $cottie Pimppen, is the introduction to a new concept for what hiphop can be. It features the hit singles “Money and Cars” and “We Some Pimps”, and will be the first of “6 rings” that will secure his place on the throne as King of the game, evoking the pimp mentality that has been a missing piece from the industry for years. $cottie Pimppen and P$ociety are a movement that people either get behind or get left behind. Pimpping the industry is the mission.
